Region's Dentists Benefit from a Visit from BNRU Educators

The course, which took place in Stary Oskol, was devoted to the issues of local anaesthesia and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The lecture part of the course included an assessment of the pharmacological properties of local anaesthetics, how to prevent complications arising from the use of local anaesthesia, and the differential diagnosis of emergency conditions. The course is led by Professor Sergei Gontarev, Head of the Pediatric Dentistry Department, and Senior Doctor of the Stary Oskol Dental Surgical Clinic.

Dr Elena Volobueva, a senior lecturer of the Department of Dentistry, also delivered lectures for 75 dentists from Belgorod and the districts of Valuysky, Volokonovsky, Starooskolsky, Gubkinsky, Yakovlevsky, Borisovsky, Shebekinsky and Chernyansky. This course is accredited, and participants received their first six points. This is the first of three such courses planned for 2018.
