BNRU Hosts a Leading Russian Economist

The public lecture by Professor Katasonov, an Associate Member of the Academy of Economic Sciences and Entrepreneurship, and prolific author, was devoted to the economic situation both in Russia and globally. The lecture was hosted by the Institute of Economics and Management.

Professor Katasonov spoke on the development of the digital economy, the debt policy of developed countries, international banking operations, transnational corporations, and on IT products and services in general. Lecturers from the Law Institute also attended the lecture, and took part in the discussion that followed. An exchange of views on the relationship between the material and spiritual in economics followed. The students and postgraduates were interested in issues around employment and career development.
Professor Marina Vladyka, the director of the Institute of Economics and Management, thanked Professor Katasonov for an interesting and informative meeting, and asked the Professor to participate in student forums and future scientific conferences hosted by BNRU.
