Students Clear the Language Barrier

The Pedagogical Institute's Teaching Methodology Department, English Department, and the Centre for Foreign Language Education and Academic Writing organised the test as part of a program called 'Linguistic Training and International Certification for Foreign Language Students and Teachers in Belgorod Region'. The test assesses ability in reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a view to accurately portraying the subject's level of grammar and vocabulary. APTIS determines the subject's proficiency within the 'Common European Framework of Reference for Languages'. Each skill is rated from basic (Level A1) to advanced (Level C). Our students demonstrated a high level of language proficiency, with around half of the 39 subjects achieving Level C.
