Students from BNRU and the University of Bremen teamed up to consider questions around the concept of 'Family'
12 students from the Institute of Cross-Cultural Communication and International Relations' Department of Romance Languages and German, worked with 9 students from the Cultural Faculty of the University of Bremen. This year, a joint study was conducted on the theme of 'Family', during which students considered the socio-cultural, linguistic and literary manifestations of this concept. In the course of this, students developed a work plan, set goals and objectives, defined research methods, and researched scientific and critical literature. The students took part in lectures and seminar sessions conducted by our own Dr Elena Sherstyukova and Dr Oksana Kuzmina, and their German counterparts Professor Elizabeth Arendt and Dr Oliver Hinkelbein.
A magazine and an academic article, based on the research, are planned for publication in the near future.
