Athletes of the equestrian school of BNRU took part in the championship of the Voronezh region in jumping and dressage at the Komsomolskaya Pravda ‘Yamenskaya Usadba’
More than 100 riders participated in the competition. This tournament is a qualifier for prestigious competitions: the Hephaestus Cup in the Moscow region. Athletes from Voronezh, Lipetsk, Tambov, Kursk, Volgograd and Belgorod regions competed in overcoming obstacles and dressage. The panel of judges was headed by Svetlana Tsvetaeva, the judge of the All-Russian category from Moscow.
BNRU equestrian school was represented by young athletes, many of whom participated in competitions of such level for the first time. Ekaterina Shakola on a horse named Verona became the bronze prize-winner of the competition. Polina Gomon, on the same horse, became the youngest participant of the competitions and was awarded judges as a promising sportswoman. Polina competed with experienced riders and took the honorable fifth place.
