The first "wave" of enrollment at BNRU

At the meeting of BNRU Academic Council the preliminary results of the Enrollment campaign-2018 were summed up. Members of the Academic Council discussed the results of the first wave of enrollment. The rector of the university instructed the heads of institutes to intensify work on attracting entrants during the second "wave" of enrollment. The rector signed an order to admit entrants to 80 percent of budget places.

During the "first wave" 2194 entrants were enrolled in the university. Of these, 995 entrants are enrolled on the budgetary basis.

This year the most popular directions and specialties of the Bachelor's degree and the specialty of the BNRU are "Pediatrics", "Media communications", "State and municipal management", "Medicine business", "Economics", "Stomatology" and "History". On the paid form of training the highest contest was in the directions of preparation: "Geography", "Fundamental Informatics and Information Technologies", "Applied Informatics", "Information Systems and Technologies", "Biotechnology", "State and Municipal Management", "Management", "Pediatrics" and "Sociology." The most budgetary places were allocated to specialties and directions of training of the Institute of Engineering Technologies and Natural Sciences and the Medical Institute.

Acceptance of documents for admission to the magistracy and postgraduate study in full-time education continues until August 10.
