Researcher of the International Scientific and Educational Laboratory of Radiation Physics Christina Vokhmyanina presented her research in China
Christina Vokhmyanina made a scientific report at the international research meeting ‘First Mini-Workshop on Physics of Ions: Borders and Applications’, which took place at the largest Chinese university in Lanzhou at the Faculty of Nuclear Physics and Technology. The meeting was organized with a view to jointly discussing the latest experimental and theoretical achievements in the field of application of charged particle beams. Scientists from Japan, China, Great Britain, France, Sweden and Russia took part in the discussions.
During the presentation of the scientist of BNRU Christina Vokhmyanina, important results of studies of the interaction of electrons with dielectric surfaces were presented at the International Scientific and Educational Laboratory of Radiation Physics. This subject has received international recognition and is an up-to-date direction of the physics of beam technologies.
In addition to the profile meeting, Christina Vokhmyanina, as an expert, was invited to a seminar on the topic "Physics and Applications of Ion Beams", and also took part in academic seminars and experimental work at the Laboratory of Beam Physics Faculty of Nuclear Physics and Technology, Lanzhou University.
The result of Christina Vokhmyanina's visit was not only acquaintance with the latest world trends and achievements in the field of charged particle physics, but also discussion of the possibility of carrying out experiments and creating joint scientific projects with the Chinese side.
