Members of BNRU’s administration discussed the issues of cooperation with the administration of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the heads of the embassies of the PRC and Serbia
Rector of BNRU Professor Oleg Polukhin and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Vladislav Kuchmisty met Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Bazhanov and the Rectorate of the Academy. During the meeting, the results of cooperation over the past two years and prospects for joint work, including with the universities of Serbia and Italy, were discussed. It was, in particular, about networking in the implementation of double diplomas program (together with Florence and Belgrade universities), on the an academic exchange for lecturing.
In the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, a meeting was held with the head of the education department of the Embassy of the PRC, the adviser-envoy, Mr. Yu Jihai and the second Secretary for Education of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, Ms. Bi Huanhuan. The parties discussed cooperation in the field of educational activities.
In the Embassy of Serbia, the rector of BNRU Oleg Polukhin discussed with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Russian Federation Slavenko Terzic, the second secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Russia Snezhana Pavlovich, the director of the Institute for Political Studies in Belgrade Zivojin Djuric and the scientific adviser of the Institute for Political Studies in Belgrade, Zoran Milosevic issues of cooperation with universities in Serbia. In particular, it was about the participation of both sides in large-scale humanitarian projects: the opening of the Slavic Studies Center at BNRU, the organization of the event ‘Belgorod Days in Belgrade’ and cultural exchanges between sister cities Belgorod-Nish.
