Knowledge Day Celebration Plan

Knowledge Day will begin with a traditional prayer service in St. Evgenia's Chapel. Then the parade of Academic council members and graduate students will go to BNRU .

On the university square, in front of the main building of BNRU, a Student associations fair will open, and near the youth cultural center there will be master classes on intellectual sports, and after that – the performance of the Rector brass band.

From five o'clock in the afternoon an active entertainment program will begin. On the square in front of Svetlana Khorkina Sports Center, the creative teams of BNRU will conduct choreography master classes. At the same time, the exhibition-sale of decorative arts and crafts and master-classes of folk masters of Belogorie will start on the square, the animation sector and a sports ground will work. In the program - a show with giant soap bubbles, portraits from a master cartoonist, an interactive with a robot, a photozone and much more. At 18.30 a concert of the creative bands of BNRU will take place at the concert site.At 20:00 for the students of Belgorod the ‘MBand’ band will perform.

At the end of the festive program (at 20.55) the rector of BNRU, Prof. Oleg Polukhin will congratulate students on the beginning of the academic year.
