The student of BNRU Arina Lemzyakova took part in the XForum ‘We Vote for World Peace’ in the city of Kiten (Republic of Bulgaria)
The 10th International Forum-Festival ‘We Vote for World Peace’ was organized by the Department of Youth Policy and Tourism and the Department for International and External Economic Relations of the Yakutia National Autonomous Oblast of the Russian Federation. It was attended by 150 young people of 18 to 30 years, representing the regions of Russia and foreign countries. The second year student of the Chair of International Relations, Foreign Regional Studies and Political Science of the Institute of Intercultural Communications and International Relations of BNRU Arina Lemzyakova became a delegate from the Belgorod Region.
Speakers at the forum were experts from Tyumen, Moscow, Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg. The educational program of the event offered the choice of one of the modules as the main one and two modules in the format of the express course. These courses included important topics for young people: ‘Getting to know yourself’, ‘Family values: formation and preservation’, ‘Personal brand of a youth leader’, ‘Designing’, ‘Leaders and teams’, ‘My business’.
Within the framework of the forum-festival, a trend-session ‘Volunteering - a strong future’ was held, dedicated to the Year of the Volunteer in Russia, where the results of the implementation of the program for the first half of 2018 in Russia and abroad were summed up. Among the key events was the traditional meeting of the representatives of the youth governments of Russia and the leaders of public organizations of compatriots abroad, at which the participants shared their experience and plans for the future.
The last two days of the forum-festival were dedicated to the preparation for the annual action ‘Formula of Peace’, which starts on September 21. Arina Lemzyakova said that the youth forum has become a platform where you can realize what you have conceived and find like-minded people.
