BNRU CSTI was awarded with a diploma of the winner of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property
In St. Petersburg, the 6th Congress of the Centers for the Support of Technology and Innovation (CSTI) in the Russian Federation took place. The employees of the Intellectual Property Department of BNRU took part in it: the head of the department Tatyana Toktareva and the 1st category expert Irina Shevtsova.
The program of the Congress was held at the sites of the partners of the project: Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, St. Petersburg State University and the International Biotechnology Innovation Company BIOCAD. Representatives of various subjects of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus took part in the Congress.
Greetings at the opening of the VI Congress of the Centers for the Support of Technology and Innovation in the Russian Federation were made by the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko, the head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) Grigory Ivliev, the Director of the Federal Property Management Federal Institute of Industrial Property, Yury Zubov, the rector of Peter The Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Andrei Rudskoy, rector of St. Petersburg State University Nikolai Kropachev, rector of St. Petersburg State Chemical Pharmaceutical Academy Igor Narkevich.
On behalf of the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Mr. Francis Gurry, the Congress participants were greeted by the Senior Director of the Access to Information and Knowledge Division of WIPO, Mr. Alejandro Roca Campagna.
Representatives of three CSTI including BNRU, the Belgorod State Universal Scientific Library, the Belgorod University of Cooperation, Economics and Law, took part in the 6th Congress of the CSTI in Russia from the Belgorod Region. All CSTIs from the Belgorod region entered the Top-15 of the best CSTIs of the Russian Federation from one hundred and seventy centers of the country.
The Center for Support of Technologies and Innovations of BNRU, headed by Tatyana Toktareva, became the leader among the best CSTIs of the Russian Federation. The winners were awarded diplomas of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property.
