BNRU became a member of the Association of Educational Organizations ‘NOTA’

The meeting, which was held under the leadership of the President of NOTA, the Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, the Rector of the All-Church Post-Graduate and Doctoral Studies, the representative of the Moscow Patriarchate in the Interreligious Council of Russia, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, was held in Moscow, in the assembly hall of the All-Church Post-Graduate and Doctoral Studies named after Saints Cyril and Methodius.

It was attended by the rectors of the universities-founders of NOTA and 23 rectors of the leading Russian universities that applied for membership in the Association, including BNRU. BNRU was represented at the meeting by the Doctor of Philosophy, director of the Institute of Social Sciences and Mass Communications of BNRU Sergei Borisov.

Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk thanked the rectors of the higher educational institutions that joined the association and stressed that the Scientific and Educational Theological Association was established as a voluntary association of educational organizations whose purpose is to promote the development of theology as an area of scientific knowledge and a complex of educational disciplines.
