Bilbao in Northern Spain was the venue for the 30th European Congress of Pathologists
Professor Dr Tatiana Pavlova presented an overview of the work being done at international, federal and regional level to prevent cancer in new mothers and children. This is a specialist area of research for BNRU's Medical Institute, and the subject of the paper that she delivered to Congress entitled 'The Development of Pathology in Belgorod Region', which she co-authored with Professor Dr Vladimir Kulikovsky. This will be included in the published work for the Congress, which is widely read in medical circles.
Professor Pavlova has been a member of the European Society of Pathologists for over twenty years, and this year marks her 8th year of reporting to the Congress, where her work is held in high esteem.
