BNRU Dentist Addresses National Conference

Ms Kapranova was one of ten students from ten medical institutes and colleges across the country chosen to address this year's conference entitled 'Dentistry in the 21^st Century', sponsored by Colgate. She was invited as the winner of the Grand Prix of the Regional Student Dental Forum for the Central District called 'The Dental Heart of Russia – 2018'. The conference addresses current concerns in dentistry, and Ms Kapranova's research paper, entitled 'The Identification of Early Signs of Periodontal Pathogens in the Rotation and Progression of Teeth', presented possibilities for preclinical diagnosis and primary prevention of periodontitis, the most common disease in the world. She explained,

“Participation in a national forum allows students and postgraduate students from different medical universities to share experiences and set new goals for their professional development. It was important for me to represent my university at such a significant scientific event, especially since the 7^th Regional Student Dental Forum 'Dental Heart of Russia – 2019' will be held at BNRU in the spring.”
