BNRU Scientist Scoops Top National Award

The Scopus Awards are sponsored by Elsevier, the largest international academic publishing house. Since 2005, they have awarded leading scientists in Russia for their work, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science. This is in accordance with their aim of supporting and encouraging scientists around the world.

This year Professor Kaybyshev won due, at least in part, to his high Hirsch rating. A Hirsch rating is based upon having a consistent output of academic papers, which are also cited in other academic works. To date Professor Kaybyshev has published 420 articles, and has been cited 6329 times, making him one of the most important scientists in his field. As head of the MPNHRM Laboratory, his involvement is key to many of the breakthroughs being made at BNRU. When he collects his award on 8^th November this year, it will be a moment of deserved honour and recognition for this remarkable scientist, and a moment of pride for his colleagues, friends and family.
