At a meeting of their Commission on Legal Education, the Law Association of the Russian Federation (LARF) accredited 4 courses run by BNRU. This puts our Institute of Law among the top places for Legal training in the Russian Federation
Professor Evgeny Tonkov, Director of the Law Institute, was invited to LARF headquarters in Moscow for the results of an assessment, and for certification. The chairman of the Commission, Dr Sergei Stepashin, presented the certificates in recognition of the completion of 4 LARF standard educational programs, to their exacting specifications. Members of the Commission reviewed the results of accreditation examinations conducted by the in-house 'LARF Legal Education Quality Assessment Centre'. The Centre issued a comprehensive report on the four BNRU courses under examination, and recommended accreditation to the Commission. This puts our 4 courses among 59 accredited courses nationwide, offered by 11 universities, of which BNRU is now one.
While there, Professor Tonkov was able to participate in a meeting discussing amendments to the instructions for any and all organisations involved in the professional and public accreditation of educational programs in jurisprudence.
