A warm word – a good deed

By tradition, children and ‘good wizards’ gathered at BelSU Youth Cultural Center under the New Year tree: representatives of government bodies, enterprises and institutions, teachers, employees, students of the university. For the sixteenth time BelSU holds a charity rally ‘A warm word - a good deed’: during the year students and employees of the university take part in numerous socially important events, and on the eve of the new year, the intermediate results of the marathon are traditionally summed up. Children are invited to a celebration to receive their Christmas presents.

The rector of BelSU Professor Oleg Polukhin opened the ceremony of summarizing the intermediate results of the Christmas charity rally ‘A warm word - a good deed’:

“We traditionally gathered on the eve of the new year in this beautiful hall and invited our young friends because Ded Moroz fulfilled their cherished wishes, which they had made some time ago. I wish you to receive positive emotions, energy and health along with the presents for the whole coming 2019”.

NB: In 2018, more than a hundred philanthropists took part in the Christmas marathon: teams of university departments, institutions and organizations in the city and the region, and everyone who wanted, helped children deprived of parental warmth, care, families with many children and all who need it. This year during the charity rally more than 1 million rubles were raised.
