Christmas Cheer for the Elderly

The Medical College has made a tradition of visiting the elderly at Christmas. They went to the Red Cross Nursing Home this year to hand out gifts and spend time with the residents. In palliative care, there are no ways to medically alleviate the problem, but time spent with patients can have a big impact on their morale, and is never a wasted effort. Friendship in the twilight of your life can be doubly precious.
