University Hosts Chess & Checkers Festival

The festival is organised by Belgorod State University's Centre for Intellectual Sports, and sponsored by the municipal Department for Physical Culture and Sport, and the 'Pravda' General Trades Union. The competition is run annually during the New Year break, and this year ran from 3^rd to 12^th January. There are also competitions for the disabled.
