Belgorod Press Awards

Journalists and workers from every media platform came together to celebrate excellence in their profession at an event run by the regional branch of the Union of Journalists. Our University was represented by Dr Svetlana Ushakova, Head of the Journalism Faculty, and Dr Veronika Smirnova, Head of the PR and Media Department.

Judges reviewed 300 entries in 15 categories which included material selected from across all types of media. Graduates of BelSU were well-represented at the event, a fact which was addressed by Professor Oleg Polukhin, Rector of our University, in an address he sent to the ceremony. The Rector expressed his congratulations and appreciation to those assembled, and highlighted the significant contribution our University makes to the journalistic life of the Region, and across Russia.
