Regional Special Games

As part of 'World of Equal Opportunities' program, 10 Junior and 30 Senior teams took part, representing every municipality in the Region. They were welcomed by Dr Svetlana Ostrikova, Vice-Rector for Education and Youth Affairs. Her team coordinated students and staff in their organising of the event, and groups of volunteers decorated the venue, which gave the festival a special touch.

Events included relay races, hoop rolling, negotiating labyrinths, boules, volleyball, and a sports quiz. Among the children's teams, Grayvoronsky won, Novooskolsky took second, and Volokonovsky came third. The adult teams finished with Novooskolsky in first, Belgorod in second, and another Novooskolsky team in third. Throughout the competition families and volunteers helped to make the day fun for all involved. Special thanks go to the students from the 'Warm Hearts' organisation. Winners received certificates and everyone received keepsakes, to remind them of a special day.
