Six Belgorod State University students, Ivan Bocharov, Anastasia Zubova, Marina Saenko, Vladislav Senchenkov, Alisa Tarutina, and Dmitry Taryanik, have won scholarships from the Foundation for this academic year
This year, 3,324 people applied for the Vladimir Potanin Foundation scholarship program. Of these, 1998 were allowed to compete in the second round and 500 received an award, including our 6 students. The Foundation likes to spread the money around the disciplines, with no one subject receiving more than 6.8% of the total available. The winners are ultimately chosen by the Director Oksana Oracheva, who judges candidates on their academic worthiness, but also on whether they are well-rounded individuals. The successful applicants will receive ₽20,000 (€270) per calendar month for the duration of their Masters program this year.
