A Festival of Femininity

This year's theme was fashion. Each participant was given a random brand or designer to focus their presentations on. Dr Svetlana Ostrikova, Vice-Rector for Education and Youth Policy, presented the prizes and commented,

“Everyone here is so stylish and beautiful, that I don't know how it will be possible for you to choose a Queen. For my money, you have all demonstrated your remarkable talent, and you are all winners, just for being here.”

There was an element of competition, with the young ladies having to compete on the sports field and answer quizzes. They all produced mini videos focused on their fashion, in their own style, which injected much humour into proceedings. The final presentation was a proper show, with music and dancing. Winners in a number of categories were announced (see below), and the Queen and the Princesses were crowned by audience vote.
