4th year Law student Tatyana Luschikova won top spot at the 5th Annual Legal Advice Student Competition hosted by Moscow State University
The University's Krasnovidovo Campus was the picturesque location for the invitational event, and was sponsored by the University, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and Garant Ltd, and run by the Centre for the Development of Legal Clinics charity. 48 students from across the CIS were judged over four days by a panel of experts in separate skills. These consisted of interviewing techniques, case analysis & legal posturing, oral and written counselling, and public speaking. Ms Luschikova was a member of the winning team in a fierce competition, and she gained a lot from the experience, saying,
“During the Olympiad, we were able not only to exchange knowledge and experience, but also to practice teamwork, which is important in the legal profession. The feedback from the judges and experts at the event will help in my professional activities in the future.”
