Belgorod's Universities Compete in Kettlebell

Dr Svetlana Ostrikova, Vice-Rector for Educational and Youth Policy, welcomed the competitors and the special guests including legendary multiple world and national champions Alexander Malkov and Sergey Merkulin. The event kicked off with an artistic gymnastics display, before the competition judge, world-record holder, Ivan Belyaev got to work, along with the athletes. When the dust settled, our University came out on top, with a team consisting of Pavel Ladny, Sergey Lupandin, Vladimir Sushkov, Pavel Chuyev, and Oleg Martynov. They were coached to victory by Sergey Sylka and Alexander Voronkov. Belgorod State Technological University came second, with the Police College taking third.
