University Family Medicine Centre

The Governor was impressed with what he saw. This is part of a Regional plan to upgrade the Region's health infrastructure, and provide state-of-the-art instruction for doctors, and keep them abreast of the latest developments in medicine. As part of the University, it will also conduct research on health issues under the supervision of Dr Nina Zhernakova, who leads medical research at the Institute. She pointed out to her guests that the strength of the Centre will be its multi-disciplinary approach to medical issues, rehabilitation, and public health. The Family Doctors (General Practitioners) trained at the Centre will have the best training the University can provide.
