BelSU Botanical Garden has grown 2.5 thousand seedlings of ornamental plants in the framework of the regional project
The Governor of the Belgorod Region Yevgeny Savchenko founded a new tradition of presenting gifts in the form of living plants. Since spring, at all festive events, the foremost production workers of the Belgorod region receive a perennial plant from the head of the region.
In many areas of the region, the idea has already been adopted, and BelSU Botanical Garden, in the framework of the regional project for growing seedlings of decorative plant species, has grown alleys of fragrant living gifts. Over 2.5 thousand plants await their lucky owners in the laboratory greenhouse complex of the university - this is narrow-leaved lavender of the Blue strain variety, as well as chokeberry seedlings and shrubby cinquefoil.
