Students of Belgorod State University visited the sites of the 45th WorldSkills Championship
The 45th world championship of professional excellence according to WorldSkills standards ended in Kazan. Students of the BelSU Institute of Economics and Management Nadezhda Ivanchikova, Zakhar Maslikov and Tatyana Cherpachenko, who showed good results in the university championship according to WorldSkills standards, visited the championship as a member of the Belgorod region and were able to see how the competitions are held among the best young specialists in their competencies.
“We visited the championship venues, where competitions were held, saw designers, programmers, landscape designers, florists, hairdressers, robotics specialists, cosmetologists and others. We watched the work of real professionals”. Tatyana Cherpachenko shared her impressions.
The WorldSkills Championship was attended by over 1300 contestants from 63 countries. In the unofficial team event, the Russian team took second place, winning 14 gold medals, four silver and four bronze. The first place was won by the Chinese team, the third place - by the Korean team. The ceremony of closing the championship and awarding the winners was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The head of state congratulated the participants of the championship.
