BelSU at The Race of Nation

Belgorod State University joined the large-scale event The Race of Nation, which was held in Belgorod on the All-Russian Day of Running. The race gathered two thousand participants of different age categories on the territory of the Olympia cycle roller skating track. Teachers and students of two faculties of the university, led by Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education Igor Nikulin and Acting Dean of the Preparatory Department Olga Dekhnich took part in the race.

The traditional attraction of foreign students to socially significant events has long been a hallmark of the preparatory faculty and one of the mechanisms that facilitate the adaptation process. In the 2km race, students from Yemen, Colombia and Ecuador took part together with Russian students and teachers.

Students of the Faculty of Physical Culture of the Pedagogical Institute showed good results in the race: Artyom Smovzhov (the 1st place), Vadim Torokhov (the 3rd place). Among foreign students, the best result (the 19th place) was Bonfante Perez Dostina Rafael from Colombia.
