The most athletic university in the country

The team of BelSU - the winner of the last year, once again presented its region at the national level. The city of Chelyabinsk picked up the baton of the All-Russian Ready for Labor and Defence festival after Belgorod and BelSU. There, at the South Ural State University, the second student sports festival in the history of Russia was held.

Each university introduced 8 participants (4 boys and 4 girls). BelSU team included representatives of the Physical Culture Department of the Pedagogical Institute: Marina Terentyeva, Ekaterina Gerasimova, Ekaterina Brazhnik, Rustam Abdi Ogly, Ivan Agafonov, Nikita Besedin, student of the historical and philological faculty of the Pedagogical Institute, Ekaterina Semenova and student of the Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies Alexander Logvinov.

After four days in the team event of the competition, a first place was taken by the team of BelSU (with a total score of 4933 points). The second place went to the team of Tver State Medical University (4715 points). In third place - Udmurt State University (4660 points).

The unique challenge cup will remain at the Belgorod State University for another year.

According to the results of the individual championship, three of our athletes climbed the podium. First place - Rustam Abdi Ogly, Ekaterina Semenova; second place - Ivan Agafonov.
