The NRU "BelSU" opens new training programs in mechatronics and robotics

This year, the NRU “BelSU” Department of Information and Robotic Systems of the Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies, is going to host the first admission for state-funded undergraduate training program places “Mechatronics and Robotics”.

As the Directorate of the Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies explained, students of this program will have advanced knowledge in the field of mechatronic and robotic systems, including information-sensor, executive and control modules, their mathematics, algorithms and software, methods and means of their design, modeling and experimental research. First year students can be included in scientific research and production testing of mechatronic and robotic systems of various application fields.

At the end of the bachelor program, students will have the opportunity to continue their studies and obtain a master's degree, as well as a PhD degree. For the first time this year, admission is open for the master`s program "Automated Engineering" in the "Mechanical Engineering" field along with the graduate training program "Technology and Equipment for Mechanical and Physicotechnical Processing" in the 15.06.01 "Engineering" field.

According to Olga Ivashchuk, head of the NRU “BelSU” Department of Information and Robotic Systems, laboratory and practical classes are held in classrooms and specialized scientific and educational laboratories fitted with up-to-date equipment.
