Students living at the Belgorod State University dormitories supported Clean-Up Day organized by the campus staff
The campus staff at the suggestion of the NRU “BelSU” Social Policy Department Director Tatyana Nikulina organized a big cleanup. Maundy Thursday of the Great Lent is traditionally a big cleaning day for all Orthodox Christians. Students living in the dormitories gladly supported the idea, turning hygienic procedures into an exciting workout.
“We suggested that students clean their rooms and, at their discretion, the surrounding area, supplying them with the necessary detergents and equipment. They gladly responded to our suggestion for which we are very grateful, since cleanliness and order are especially important in the current situation,” following the Clean-up Day results commented Tatyana Nikulina.
The dormitories windows, rooms, corridors were washed and the courtyard was cleaned.
“Today it is more important than ever to maintain order and cleanliness in your home. And at the moment the dormitories are our home. Therefore, each of us considered it our duty to take part in the clean-up,” noted the students.
