Tatiana Day at Belgorod State University

Student associations’ activists met the guests of the festival in the YCC foyer. There was organized an interactive venue “Game Point”. “Podium” studio provided masterclasses by make-up artists and fashion designers. The highlight of the entertaining interactive program was a dance flash mob from new active members of the organization “Students, Unite!”

The interactive venue closed with the traditional gingerbread cookies giving ceremony. On behalf of the university rector, Professor Oleg Polukhin, the NRU “BelSU” Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy Svetlana Ostrikova treated the heroes of the day.

A ceremony of presenting awards to the best students of the university took place in the concert hall. Svetlana Ostrikova noted in her congratulation that Tatiana Day unites all generations of students and has a rich history. Letters of acknowledgement for outstanding achievements in learning and scientific activity, active participation in the public and creative work of the university from the NRU “BelSU” were presented to fifty activists, among whom were five Tatianas. Svetlana Alexandrovna presented the birthday girls with blooming fragrant lilac compositions, noting that the “January lilac” is a symbol of the coming spring and a good tradition of Student Day celebrations at the university. A wonderful present for all those gathered in the hall were the performances of soloists and creative teams of the Belgorod State University`s YCC.
