The NRU “BelSU” Institute of Earth Sciences is in dialogue with applicants

Representatives of the Institute of Earth Sciences communicated online with future students. The Institute Director Ignat Ignatenko answered applicants’ questions live. He presented the Institute’s training programs, underlining the high level of material and technical equipment, as well as wide cooperation with employing organizations. The participants were interested in the availability of state-funded places and admission quotas, the applicants' individual achievements consideration, admission documents submission process, on-site practical training, student exchange training and future employment.

Andrei Kornilov, Head of the Department of Geography, Geoecology and Life Safety, and Tatyana Polyakova, Head of the Department of Nature Management and Land Cadastre, talked about the peculiarities of the departments' training programs, noting that the hallmark of student training at the Institute of Earth Sciences are the field studies conducted not only in Belgorod region, but also in many other regions of Russia, as well as neighboring countries.
