The NRU “BelSU” representatives won the Vladimir Potanin Foundation scholarships.

This year, 3,740 people were admitted for participation in the Vladimir Potanin Foundation scholarship program. According to the results of the correspondence evaluation, two thousand people made it to the second round, of which 500 first-year and second-year master's degree students were declared winners. Among them were four students of the Belgorod State National Research University: Anastasia Grebtsova, Julia Kirichenko, Yevgeny Seliverstov and Elizaveta Stronina, as well as two representatives of the university's teaching personnel. The winners of the grant competition were Olga Slinkova, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Institute of Economics and Management, and Boris Tkhorikov, Associate Professor of the Institute of Economics and Management.

Judging by the qualities of master's degree students, the Fund Director-General Oksana Oracheva noted that this year there was a tendency for bachelor's degree recipients to pursue master’s degrees in a different field of study.

It should be noted that the winners of the scholarship competition will receive a monthly scholarship of the Vladimir Potanin Charity Fund in the amount of 25,000 per month from February 2020 until the end of their master’s degree studies.
