The university has become a platform for the online discussion “Eurasian and European Integration of the Post-Soviet countries”, bringing together experts from Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, the European Union and Russian regions.
The forum was organized by representatives of the NRU “BelSU” Department of Social Technologies and Public Service of the Institute of Economics and Management, and attended by 30 leading experts. In his greeting the head of the Department, Viktor Sapryka noted the importance of the discussion in the context of current events. Alexander Sidorov, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Department for Cooperation with the Subjects of the Russian Federation and International Municipal Cooperation spoke about Russia's annual participation in large multilateral international cooperation events devoted to regional issues. The expert of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies Alexei Avdonin proposed dividing the integration processes into key blocks: economic, humanitarian, diplomatic, interdepartmental, intercountry and information. Among the active discussion participants were: Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of Yerevan State University Grigor Balasanyan, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Pavel Chernomaz and other experts.
