Scientists and financial experts gathered at BelSU to discuss issues of financial awareness

During the three days’ forum scientists, financial experts, entrepreneurs and government officials discussed issues related to economical processes in Belgorod region, Russia and the world.

The BelSU Vice-Rector for Economy and Finance Igor Polevoy greeted the participants of the conference on behalf of the Rector Oleg Polukhin. He presented the university’s positions in national and international ratings as well as university’s competitive brand in the global research and education area, its role as an integrating organization in the World-Class Research and Education Centre «Innovative Solutions in Agri-Business» and its preliminary work results.

The conference work was organized around sections such as “Finance and Credit Systems”, “International Economics and International Business”, “Digital Technologies in the Social and Economic Systems Management”. The final conference day was dedicated to the issues of the population’s financial awareness.

BelSU Professor Oksana Vaganova, while summing up the results of the conference underlined that the forum turned to become a platform for new economic research in finances. The conference will be completed by publishing a collection of research papers by the participants.
