BelSU student team won silver medals at the municipal football competition

The university was represented by “BelSU Avitsenny” team that demonstrated good results during the whole season. According to the Head of the Sports Club Vladimir Rudenko the team consisted mostly of Arab students.

The football championship was concluded by the second place of the university team that was awarded the cup and medals, and the best players received valuable gifts from the President of Football Federation Timofey Puzenko.

The best championship finisher was declared the skipper of “BelSU Avitsenny” team Allubani Ali Samir Ali (Jordan) who scored 21 goals. The title of the best championship assistant was awarded to Irkhaeem Baker (Iraq). The best international players were announced Kasuba Kapambe (“Legion” team from Zambia), Ibrakhim Musa (“Shumery” team from Nigeria) and a student from Iraq Mokhammed Khaider Karim.

The awarding ceremony was also attended by the Tutor of the Arab Students Community Elena Nazarenko and the Head of BelSU Sports Club Vladimir Rudenko.
