A summing-up of the exhibition “Ethnoculture of the Nations” was held at BelSU Center for Intercultural Communication
Every year, the Center for Intercultural Communication hosts an exhibition “Ethnoculture of the Nations”. International student communities of the university present items of folk crafts, pieces of national costumes, traditional shoes, musical instruments and other ethnic things that visitors get to know during the excursions.
This year in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic a virtual exhibition was organized via social networks. The display at the Center for Intercultural Communication was visited by students of the Preparatory Faculty and the Institute for Intercultural Communication and International Relations. The guides representing international student communities presented their exhibition tables. Musical and poetic compositions in different languages were presented by Evgenia Grigoryants, Fanny Oliver, Ani Bernardus, Angelia Sarah and Mikaela Vargas. In her welcome speech the Vice-Rector for Education and Youth Policy Svetlana Ostrikova noted the big input of the international student communities and the tutors in development of intercultural communication, friendship and dialogue for the common benefit and awarded the winners of the exhibition.
International activist students were awarded with the rector's gratitude letters for their contribution to preserving ethnic culture and development of intercultural communication.
