BelSU celebrate Defender of the Fatherland Day

On the eve of 23^rd February the activists of the Center for Civil-Patriotic Education of Students in cooperation with BelSU Student Union held a patriotic action dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day. The students congratulated male teachers and university staff on the upcoming holiday, presented calendars and invited them to a gala concert prepared by the creative teams of BelSU Youth Cultural Centre.

The concert, which was organized as required by the sanitary and preventive regulations, brought together teachers, students, employees and veterans, combatants of different years whose life is closely connected with the university. Among them - the participant of the Great Patriotic War, the former rector of the university Pyotr Konyaev. The Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy Svetlana Ostrikova congratulated the university staff on Defender of the Fatherland Day on behalf of the rector Oleg Polukhin. Svetlana Ostrikova noted that in the difficult period of the pandemic outbreak everyone is demonstrating courage, fortitude and endurance.
