A round table on the topic “Globalization vs Cultural Diversity Preservation” was held at BelSU Center for Intercultural Communication
The event was brought together students and lecturers of Pedagogical Institute, Medical Institute, Institute of Social Sciences and Mass Communications, Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies, Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations and Preparatory Faculty. The event was moderated by Olga Lyutova, head of the Center for Intercultural Communication.
The participants of the round table made reports on important issues of preserving linguistic and cultural diversity, as well as the processes that foster globalization in the field of economy, education and tourism. Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations, Foreign Regional Studies and Political Science of the Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations Nikolai Fomichev noted active participation of the audience in the discussion of the reports and interesting questions for speakers.
