The winners and prize-winners of the competition were presented with certificates and memorable gifts at a solemn ceremony
The competition has been held by the Center for Intercultural Communication since 2019. This year the tradition has been continued. Among the participants – students from 9 countries: Afghanistan, Ecuador, India, Colombia, Iraq, Haiti, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Togo. At the first stage the jury assessed the portfolio of the contestants including achievements in studies, sports, social work and creativity, at the second stage – their video self-presentations.
As a result, the title of the best international student was awarded to Evgenia Grigoryants representing the Turkmenistan student community. She was presented with a diploma and a memorable gift. The prize-winners Mansur Ahmad Muzamil from Afghanistan and Yadav Ankit from India were also awarded with diplomas. All the competition participants had an opportunity to visit Prokhorovskoye Pole Memorial Complex and museums in Prokhorovka during an excursion organized by BelSU Center for Intercultural Communication, the Trade Union Committee and Educational Center “Odigitria”.
Among the awardees there were also the most active international students who had attended the course of lectures on extremism psychology, participated in the international essay competition “Student Shield”, as well in the video challenge “Travel the World with CIC”.
The winners and participants were congratulated by Svetlana Ostrikova, the Vice-Rector for Education and Youth Policy.
