The international scientific and methodological seminar “Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language: Distance Format” was held at Belgorod State University

The scientific event was held as part of the Program for Russian Language Promotion Abroad (2021-2025). Olga Prokhorova, the Director of BelSU Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations addressed colleagues with a welcoming speech noting that the university holds a large number of events aimed at popularizing Russian language, promoting and strengthening the BelSU position worldwide. One of the components of this program is a series of scientific and methodological seminars for teachers of Russian as a foreign language (RFL).

During the international scientific and methodological seminar the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning, new practices, methods and forms of teaching RFL, instructing tools in the context of distance learning and many other aspects were discussed.
