A student of Belgorod State University won the Ironman triathlon

The Ironman triathlon tournament was held in Tallinn, Estonia, and attracted about 1200 participants. A student of Belgorod State University Galina Chetverikova covered 226 km distance including swimming, marathon and cycling in 10 hours and 40 minutes - which earned her a bronze medal.

It should be noted that Galina was the only athlete representing Belgorod region, who managed to reach the podium of the Ironman series of races. The athlete has been trained by Alexander Pozdnyakov.
