Welfare beneficiaries and students with a high grade are accommodated on a first-priority basis
According to Tatiana Nikulina, the Director of BelSU Social Policy Department, 394 dormitory places have been allocated including 22 – for orphans and handicapped students, 192 – for the students with high grades and 74 – for the students majoring in natural sciences and engineering, which are the priority directions of technological development of Russia.
As explained by Tatiana Nikulina, there are 835 remaining dormitory places including 500 reserved for international students, and the remaining 335 places will be distributed by the special committee according to the applications received from the university’s institutes.
The decision on the dormitory accommodation application is posted on a student’s personal account at the portal of ‘InfoBelGU: The Course of Studies” information system.
Tatiana Nikulina also noted that prior to dormitory accommodation students will undergo a medical examination. The list of the mandatory medical examinations can be found in a special memo.
“We have adjusted the working hours of Passport and Visa Department and University Polyclinic. The upcoming Saturday and Sunday all the necessary specialists will be available”, said Tatiana Nikulina.
