Discussing theology as a direction of universities’ information policy via videoconferencing

A round table via videoconferencing “Youth Communications” which brought together students and professors of three university theology departments was held at BelSU Media Centre of Belgorod State University. The online event took place at Belgorod State University which is currently the only university providing theology and journalism programs at one institute. The conference was dedicated to the 20^th anniversary Socio-Theological Faculty of Belgorod State University. The participants of the videoconference “Belgorod – Saratov – Makhachkala” discussed the specificity of digital resources application in educational programs on theology, tools of up-to-date youth communications.

The Rector of Belgorod State University, Oleg Polukhin welcomed all the guests and participants of the event. He noted that theological education being liturgical and person-oriented should also involve scientific work.

The moderator of the round table was Gennady Klushkin, the Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Social Service Projects of the State Projects Directorate MIA “Russia Today”. He underlined that Belgorod State University was the only university that brought together young theologists and journalists within one institute.

During the round table the young theologists presented their accomplishments and discussed the promising projects with the experts. The tools of work with educational films and videos, video books, audio lectures, and infographics were also covered.
