BelSU scientists presented the Belgorod Region Governor awards

The celebration took place at the Belgorod State Philharmonic. Teachers, professors, scientists, including representatives of BelSU had the honour of winning awards. Inna Shapovalova, Head of the Department of Sociology and Organization of Work with Youth of the Institute of Social Sciences and Mass Communication received a Letter of Gratitude from Belgorod Region Governor for many years of diligent work, high level of professionalism, and a significant contribution to the development of higher education in Belgorod Region. The Letter of Gratitude was presented by Vyacheslav Gladkov, Belgorod Region Governor, who stated that the future of our country depends on teachers.

“Education is a basic industry which is foundational to absolutely everything. The most important thing, the future of our children and, therefore, the future of our huge country is in your hands”, - emphasized Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Andrei Papkov, Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology of the Institute of Pedagogy also received a Letter of Gratitude from the administration of Belgorod Region Governor for many years of diligent work, high level of professionalism, and a significant contribution to the development of higher education in the territory of Belgorod Region. The award was presented by Ekaterina Zhuravleva, Head of the Regional Science Department.
