Russian scientific and methodological seminar "Pre-university training in Russia: past, present, future" was held at the Centre for Intercultural Communication
The seminar was organized by the representatives of Preparatory Faculty and Department of Russian Language, Professional Speech and Intercultural Communication of the Institute of Cross-cultural Communication and International Relations, BelSU.
Among the participants of the seminar there were professors not only from Belgorod universities, but also from Tula State University, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and Kaluga State University named after K.E. Tsiolkovski.
The participants discussed challenges of foreign students training and exchanged experiences in the field of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
Vladislav Kuchmisty, BelSU Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, delivered welcoming remarks, emphasizing the achievements in international cooperation, in particular, opening of the Centre for Russian Language and Culture in Quito (Ecuador).
Tatyana Samosenkova, BelSU Professor of the Department of Russian Language, Professional Speech, and Intercultural Communication noted the importance of holding such events, since the value of professional communication is now significantly increasing.
Within the framework of the seminar, the opening of the exhibition "From the Preparatory Faculty graduate to BelSU ambassador" took place, where it is possible to immerse into the memories of the Preparatory Faculty graduates.
