Lions winning the bronze

The awarding ceremony was held for the winners, medalists and laureates of the 8-a-side Belgorod Football Championship. The BelSU international team Lions, which includes students from Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Ecuador, was among the medalists of the tournament.

According to the results, Irhai Baker Haidar, the team captain, was recognized as the best player of the third League. The young man admits that the impressions from each match are priceless.

“Football is life. The emotions that we get from the game are unique! Of course, we fought for the first place, but, unfortunately, we were awarded only the bronze of the tournament,” the athlete says.

The organizers of the championship noted the team spirit and positive attitude of the athletes and their fans.
