The future is in ecology

The Forum of Ecological Movement of Russia and CIS was held in Khanty-Mansiysk. Experts, heads of educational platforms and programme activities, volunteers and students - representatives of 11 regions of the Russian Federation - took part in the Forum.

The Forum became a platform for dialogue and exchange of experience between students of the Autonomous Okrug and other regions of Russia. The participants presented their reports on the development of the environmental movement and spoke about the implementation of environmental projects in the regions within the context of socially significant projects. They also learned a lot of interesting and informative things during the educational modules.

According to the students from Belgorod, all the days of the forum were filled with dynamic work, heated communication, educational modules and vivid emotions.

At the end of the programme activities students of the Institute of Earth Sciences received a number of personal awards: Imil Karimov was acknowledged as the most active participant of the forum and Anna Aleksandrova was named the most environmentally friendly. Belgorod State University was awarded in the categories “Best Social Media” and “Best Forum Project” (Development of a Geo-Information Portal with Virtual Reality Elements for Nature Conservation Areas in Belgorod Region” by Evgeny Tsygulyov).
